Jefferson Terrace Aquatic Club Swim Team 2011

Registration will take place  the first week of practice.  Please bring completed registration form and payment for fees and suits by May 12, 2011.  There will be only 1 team swimsuit order placed at the end of this week, if you want to order through JTAC (free shipping).  After that, you will be responsible for getting the swimsuit.  The suits are as follows:  female – Dolfin color block DBX back in red/blk/wh (9585C) and male – Dolfin color block jammer in red/blk/wh (8155C).  Please visit www.swimoutlet.com to view the suit and sizing chart.

 

Evening Swim Team Practices will be on:

May 9th through the May 24th:

5:30 to 6:15  10 and under         Monday through Thursday

6:15 to 7:00  11 and up            Monday through Thursday

May 25rd through end of season:

7:30 to 8:15  10 and under         Monday through Thursday

8:15 to 9:00  11 and over            Monday through Thursday

Morning Practices:

May 26th through end of season:

9:00-10:00   all ages                        Monday through Thursday

Some Important Policies

  1. Children, who cannot meet the minimum swimming requirements for safety, will NOT be allowed to continue to be on the Swim Team until they can. The coaching staff will evaluate all swimmers abilities.
  2. Each swimmer is expected to attend practices regular and participate in meets. It is the responsibility of the swimmer and his/her parents to notify the coaching team when a swimmer cannot attend practice and especially a meet.
  3. Each swimmer is expected to show their coach proper respect. Any swimmer not showing the proper respect will be warned. If the swimmer continues to be disrespectful, the swimmer will be suspended from practice.
  4. In order to have meets, parents’ help is needed. One parent MUST participate during at least 3 meets. Sign up sheets will be available during registration.
  5. Because there are no lifeguards on duty during swim practice the kid’s pool is CLOSED.
